Up
to here, You could appreciate who I am, informing yourself about my professional
profile. Through this presentation, you will be able to know the
activities that I carry out, considering the three groups of services that are
displayed in this first slide.
Next, I am going to comment which activities I develop to select custom made systems required by productive and services companies, as well as by professionals.
These
three activities are the ones that allow us to define which is the type of system
that the clients wish
to have, according to their requirements. The first item is going to
indicate the objectives of the user client. The second item is going to
indicate what the market offers and, very particularly, what is new in the
market!. Finally, specifying with precision the type of information and reports to obtain, the
activities of
selection of the custom made system can begin.

Once
that the high-priority information is defined, we must analyze which the beginning
data is, such as the one provided by the client or potential supplier, the one required to operate the
software in matter, the one obtained from existing measuring entities, or
extracted from products which will be analyzed in the future, monitoring equipment, etc. This
information is going to be useful as
a data base for future necessary consultations, in order to have the first idea of
what is desired, being very important to have knowledge of who have
the system in operation .
Disposing
of the users guide it is convenient to know their experience with the implanted
system. In this stage, I formulate all those questions that can provide a
clear idea of its operation and its restrictions, so as to begin next with the evaluation
of the different proposals. It is also necessary to foresee the quality of
the post sale service.
(Now I begin giving participation to the client or the user
that he designates, since it is important to adjust to his
requirements in the strictest way and to introduce him into the operative
handling and conditions to work, with what the system demands as well).
Before
starting with the proceedings of acquisition of the selected system, to make the necessary investment in
peripheral, auxiliary equipment,
application and basic software and essential industrial usage materials must be foreseen, so that the system
operates correctly. Once that the previously mentioned is defined
and done, I will have the necessary documentation to
initiate the purchase proceedings, participating in this management in order to
assure the correct supply of all the constituent components and industrial usage
materials, and mainly to dispose of all the stages of adaptation and
necessary tests of guarantee. In order assure the success of the
commercial management, I suggest making an examination of all the legal
aspects inherent to this transaction with a competent professional.
Seventh
slide
The
training that the user needs must be very seriously considered. That
training must include not only all those concerning to the suitable
system operation, but also all the related to the interpretation of the generated
information. It is recommended to arrange and budget the type of desirable
training as a part of the required system purchase contract .
An
important aspect to consider is, as it is indicated in the 13th item, what
type of restrictions the "system" has, so as to periodically program its
update according to the arising necessities or the ones which had not been anticipated in the
original configuration. For that reason, I offer two possibilities: either by
means of an
own services contract, or establishing the one with the company supplier.
In that last case, I will personally be able
to take part in its preparation and later negotiation.
Coincidentally with 15th and 16th items, the supplier company must perform at least one guarantee test, according to the guidelines arranged with the buyer, in which it demonstrates that the system fulfills the requirements specified in the purchase order. Besides, it is convenient to mediate in the initial installation and to carry out periodical behavior studies, which allow us to report the restrictions or failures that have taken place.
